About Us

Our mission on the Blue Fox Farm is to spread the love of gardening and self-sufficiency, build confidence among newer gardeners, get people eating healthier foods, and to help those dealing with food insecurity in our community. In essence, we want to spread the wealth we've been blessed with! Both material and in knowledge. ❤🙂

We started this farm in 2019 with just a single 20ft x 20ft plot for a garden. As we started growing more and more, we realized the demand for vegetable and fruit plants was high, but the cost in big-box stores was too much for many to afford. So in spring of 2022, we began selling plants for only $1 each. Since then, we've also set up two "Free Food" stands. One at our son's daycare where we began donating our extra produce in 2022, and another on our property. We hope to help families in need and encourage the youth to eat healthier, fresh, and local foods.

We also offering free vegetable and flower seeds in limited quantities at our annual Seed Swap & Giveaway event in February. We hope this will motivate those who have been nervous to try growing from seed themselves to give it a try without worry of monetary loss in the process, or to try growing something they've never tried before. We hope to make vegetable seeds accessible to all, regardless of financial situation.
